Larkin Bohn is a sailor, science communicator, filmmaker, speaker, and adventurer whose unconventional career has taken her from the Army and maritime industry to research expeditions around the world.

After 12 years working at sea, Larkin discovered science communication while creating videos aboard research vessels.

What began as a personal way to share the science she was witnessing became a career dedicated to making complex research accessible, engaging, and human.

Her work has taken her from Fiji to the Mariana Trench, where she has documented research, shared the stories of scientists and crews, and highlighted women working in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Today, Larkin speaks about reinvention, possibility, curiosity, women in STEM and maritime fields, leadership, and building a life on your own terms.

Her story is a reminder that a career does not have to follow a straight line, every experience has the potential to become part of something bigger, and it is never too late to choose what comes next.
